Board & Train is our turn-key program: we do the work, you enjoy the results. Private Lessons are the opposite, by design. You're on the floor for every session, shadowing a certified trainer from start to finish, learning to lead your dog the way we do.
Every lesson runs on the Dog Grove method. No treats, no bribery. Your dog earns physical touch, verbal praise, and structure, and it earns them from you. By the end of the program, your dog isn't just trained. You're trained, and that's what makes results permanent.
Most clients see a noticeable difference by the end of the very first lesson.

THE CURRICULUM
Tailored to Your Dog.
Every program is built around your dog's age, habits, and goals. Most fall into three areas of focus:
Puppy & Basic Training
Start your puppy on the right foundation: housebreaking and crate training, leash manners, the core commands (sit, down, stay, come, place), socialization with people and other dogs, and correction of biting, chewing, and excessive barking before they become adult habits.
Behavior Modification
For dogs showing anxiety, hyperactivity, or worse: unruly behavior toward family, strangers, or other dogs, separation anxiety and destructive behavior, leash pulling, and resource guarding of toys, food, or space. We address the pack-order confusion underneath, not just the symptom on the surface.
Intermediate & Advanced Obedience
Take existing skills to the next level: advanced recall and off-leash control, hand signals and verbal cues, random command work, distance and distraction training, and calm behavior in every environment, from the training floor to the park to a house full of guests.

Every private lesson happens at our facility, and that's deliberate. Your living room has the distractions your living room has. Period. Our learning center is engineered with controlled, real-world distractions: other dogs, new people, unfamiliar sounds, movement. We dial them up gradually as your dog progresses, so obedience is tested where it's hard and holds up everywhere. If in-home coaching is truly the better fit for your family, our sister company One Clever Canine serves Dade and Broward Counties.

Custom Training Plan.
A program built around your dog and your schedule, typically 4 to 10 weeks, with weekday and Saturday session times.
Hands-On Sessions.
You work alongside a certified trainer in every lesson, learning to read your dog and lead with calm authority.
Short Daily Homework.
Fifteen to thirty minutes of structured practice a day between sessions. Brief, specific, and effective.
Progress You Can See.
Noticeable improvement from the first lesson, with your trainer adjusting the plan as your dog advances.
