GROUP LESSONS
Semi-Private Group Lessons in South Florida.
Five weeks. Six dogs, maximum. Real obedience built around real distractions, with the calm structure of a small group. Every dollar you spend credits toward a Board & Train upgrade.

WHY SIX DOGS, NEVER MORE
A Group Small Enough to Actually Work.
Most group lessons pack a dozen or more dogs into a room and call the chaos socialization. We do the opposite. Six dogs is the cap, not the goal, and it exists for a reason: it's enough other dogs to make the work real, and few enough that every handler gets attention from a certified trainer.
That balance is the whole point. Your dog learns to hold obedience while five other dogs move, settle, and exist a few feet away. That's the controlled, real-world distraction our method is built on, dosed at a level a beginner can succeed in.
Every Dog Grove program, lessons run on the no-treat method. Your dog earns touch, praise, and structure, not bribes. Our philosophy across all breeds is always based on train and respect, not bribery.

NOTHING WASTED
Every Dollar Moves You Forward.
Group lessons are a low-commitment way to meet our trainers and watch your dog respond to the no-treat method. Many families start here. And if you decide your dog needs the deeper immersion of Board & Train, the full $600 you paid for lessons applies as credit toward that upgrade. You don't lose a dollar by starting small. You simply move from one chapter of training to the next, with the same trainers and the same method carrying through.

Obedience That Holds Up Around Other Dogs.
Over five weeks, your dog builds the core obedience that real life demands, tested against the calm presence of a small group:
- The core commands: sit, down, stay, come, and place
- Loose-leash walking without pulling
- Calm, controlled greetings instead of jumping
- Holding focus on you while other dogs are nearby
- Settling on cue in a busy, stimulating environment
- Confidence around new people, dogs, sounds, and movement
Best suited to dogs with a basic temperament for group settings. Dogs with serious reactivity or aggression are usually better served by private lessons or Board & Train, which we'll guide you to at your evaluation.

IS THIS YOUR DOG?
Built for the Social Foundation.
Group lessons are ideal if you want a hands-on, affordable entry into structured training, if your dog needs reliable obedience around distractions, or if you're a puppy owner building good habits early in a calm, controlled setting. You stay involved in every session, learning to lead your dog the way our method teaches. And because the group is capped at six, you’re never lost in a crowd.
"Our puppy learned so much in group classes. Small class sizes and expert guidance make all the difference."
